The All-New Harley-Davidson Sportster S

Jul. 16 2021 News By Amanda Marcum

Another big reveal rolled out on July 13th, showcasing Harley-Davidson's brand new take on a custom-styled cruiser: the 2021 Sportster S.

Ready to rumble on the road, this sport motorcycle is powered by a V-Twin with vision for the future. The Revolution Max 1250T engine is "a liquid-cooled powertrain with double overhead camshafts and variable valve timing," pushing 121 horsepower. A traditional frame won't be found on the Sportster S; the dual purpose powertrain keeps the center of gravity low to the ground on a super rigid chassis. Pair this power with a high mount exhaust and you'll feel like you're back at the flat track, ready to race.

Top technology comes standard on the Sportster S, with a 4-inch round LCD display to show your gauges, turn-by-turn navigation, and adaptable ride modes. You saw that right - Harley-Davidson brought back ride modes after their premiere on the 2021 Pan America. Choose from three pre-programmed functions - Sport, Road, and Rain - to take on the highway ahead, no matter what the weather.
